KEN'S HOBBY

Ken's Hobby

Unfortunately, Ken, a Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, a friend to us all, has passed away on February 25th, 2001. He lost the battle with Lung & Bone Cancer which had been diagnosed 6 months prior. We are keeping this website going in loving memory of him, he is always in our hearts and Prayers

Till we meet again

We Love You!

For about 35 years, Ken had a heart for cars, and gave all of them tones of TLC. From scrap metal to mint condition, Ken put all of his effort into restoring all of these beautiful, collectable, antique cars. You have to see them to believe it. From a 1927 Ford Touring Model "T" to 2 1940 Deluxe Convertibles.
In the picture, at the top, was one of Ken's first accomplishments. From just a frame to a complete convertible in 20 years of careful restoration with all original parts.
This "Yellow" has a Twin, "Blue!"
1927 Ford Model "T" Touring. Rock Moss Green with Black Fenders, and wire wheels makes this specific car stand out to be very attractive to look at! It is almost too pretty to get dirty by driving it.
1928 Grey, Model "A" Pickup with Black Fenders. This Baby has a lot of individual character.. all stock, and very unique.
1928 Sand Color, Model "A" Roadster is a sister to the model "A" Pickup. But this one catches a lot of attention.. It has a Seat in the Trunk! This seat is called the Rumble Seat. This Rumble seat could be used for luggage or even extra passengers. Fun to ride in, ask anyone who has had one!
These pictures are only a small experience of what you can enjoy if you can see them in real life and maybe have a ride in one of them.
East Kootenay Antique and Classic Auto Club
Ken has been a member of this club for 24 years!
This was one of the Car Clubs outing before we sold the 1940 Ford Coupe.
Can you believe it? This is the Yellow Convertible when it was discovered in Lethbridge in someone's back yard.
WOW! Look at it now! Ken has put a lot of his hard work and sweat into this one. Now it is complete! Nice eh?
Above is the Blue Convertible before it was totally restored and the picture was taken after it was painted. Nice Huh? To see the whole story visit The Blue's Story
Good Memories
The Yellow is a popular car and one of Ken's favorites. As you can see John had it for him and his prom date in 1988.
The Model "A" came in handy for Carolyn's Prom in 1996.
These Beauties look nice all dressed up eh?
